Facebook

This was the most fun and autonomy I’ve been able to enjoy in my career in content design and UX writing. At Facebook, I was the point of contact for the Notifications Flex Review system. I worked as a collaborative cross-functional partner with content designers, product designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders from QA and Legal to internationalization to privacy and security to review notifications to ensure cohesion, reach and adherence to guidelines and standards. Not only did I review notifications, but I met with product partners in office hours to workshop them, crafted them for various teams, and created guides and updated standards to meet needs ranging from product-specific voice and tone to emoji usage, and everything in between. I was constantly recognized and praised for my work and my approach to working across teams to create a cohesive and streamlined experience in notifications and Facebook home through voice and tone.

I was also on the home and feed team, meaning I worked in product on new features and updates, and even helped lead a sprint on the future of the jewel (in-app) notification enhanced with generative AI.
